HELLO i HAVE A TROPHY IN SILVER PLATE THE INSCRIPTION ON IT SAYS (W T BROWN)ASSIST SUPT CANTERBURY DISTRICT WINNER OF SECTIONAL CONTEST 1915 WOULD THIS BE A POLICE SUPT IT HAS NO CONNECTIONS WITH MY FAMILY SO I AM TOLD HOW IT CAME TO US WE WERE TOLD OUR GRANDFATHER FOUND IT . HAVE YOU ANY RECORD OF A WT BROWN 1815 THANKS SANDY

I am looking for history of police constable J Nesbitt of MAnchester police. My late granmother Annie Meehan left me (her fathers)whistle and it has stamped on it patent.5727.08. I would be very interested to find out about him.

i found a police whistle about 15 years ago it as a patent no 5727.08 on it dose anyone now its history please i found it in sheffield

I am trying to locate a pc cashford when he was 39 he was known to be a police officer in the kent police, this is according to the 1881 census on the latter day saints site does anyone out there recognise the name or anyone could help me with tying up lots of loose ends for my family tree thank you so much.
