Webring

Kent Police Museum is proud to announce the introduction of The Police Museums Webring. The aim of the Webring, along with the Discussion Board is to develop an online community across the UK and around the world of Police Museum or related web sites allowing visitors to find other Web sites on the same theme and museum curators and volunteers to exchange information and ideas.

What is a Webring?

Webrings are a fun and easy way to find groups of websites with related content. Each website in a webring is linked to another by a simple navigation bar, allowing you to easily visit each website in the ring. Each webring is managed by a RingMaster or ring owner.

How do I add my site to the Webring?

All you have to do if you are the curator of another Police Museum or related site is to complete our joining form (click on the button below) and your site will be added to the ring list. You will the receive an email which will include the HTML code that needs to be placed on the page you have chosen on your site. Once this code has been placed on your site and we have activated your site you will then be full members of the webring.

Does it cost me anything?

The only cost is a little bit of your time to complete the joining form and place the HTML code on your site.

What sites will be acceptable?

For you website to be accepted into our webring it's content must either be another police museum or related content. The content must be family orientated with no adult content. Your site will be reviewed before being added to the active sites list and will be reviewed from time to time to ensure the content still meets these criteria. We reserve the right to remove a site from the active sites list at any time if these criteria are not met or any other reason that may be considered relevant by Kent Police Museum.

If you have any other general questions the please email either the museum curator Anna Derham (info@kent-police-museum.co.uk) or, for technical questions, our Webmaster/Ringmaster Julian Abel(info@merlinwebsolutions.com)
