Photo Archives

Our photo archive draws on the collection of photographs held at the Museum. We will be adding more photographs and background information and stories on a regular basis.

We have categorised the collection into 4 sections to help you browse the archive more easily. You can add comments to the archive, so if you have any interesting stories or anecdotes that relates to any of the photographs then we would like to hear from you.

Also if you have any photographs that you think might be of interest to the museum then please contact us (see the Contact Details page for information on how to get in touch).

We apologise that we have had to close the "Comments" ability, but this site was subjected heavily to 'Spam', and required many hours to remove. We are working on a long term solution, but this may take a little time.

We welcome your genuine comments, and would not wish to lose them, so if you have a comment for any of the photos in our galleries, please use the link below to e-mail the comment and we willl be glad to include it on the relevant picture. Please don't forget to include the picture name.
